Founded in September 2016, Ligneos is a joint venture between a leading global manufacturer of automotive interiors and accessories and a leading Italian veneer manufacturer. The name Ligneos is derived from the Latin word for "wood."The production site is in Cantù (CO), recognized as the city where wood finds its highest expression. The special nature of veneer processing with backing through innovative technologies and methods makes Ligneos' product unique and extremely versatile, suitable for any type of surface and use starting with the automotive sector, which is one of the most complex and technical for wood. Product development is done together with the client from the very first steps, starting with defining the choice of wood type, color and aesthetic properties that will later characterize the result.
