AFCEA Central Maryland Chapter (AFCEA CMD) is a non-profit membership association dedicated to providing an ethical, interactive forum for sharing knowledge and building relationships across government, military, industry and academia.Our Chapter focuses primarily on enabling the intelligence missions of today and tomorrow through education and investment in talented people. We accomplish our goal by promoting the continuing education of current IT professionals, and supporting the education of future leaders in Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM). Each year, proceeds from our corporate sponsors and Chapter events enable us to award over $200,000 to qualified students and teachers through direct scholarship, endowment or grant.The fastest growing and third largest chapter within AFCEA International, AFCEA CMD includes over 1800 professionals working in and around the Fort George G.
