AMAA Armenia is a permanent member of the Republic of Armenia's Government Charity Programs Coordination Commission.The AMAA was created in 1918 in the USA, and, since day one, its multifaceted services have facilitated the fulfillment of the material, moral, and spiritual needs of Armenian people around the globe.After the 1988 earthquake in Armenia, AMAA Armenia has focused on meeting the immediate needs of the people of Armenia.In the implementation of many different charity projects, AMAA Armenia cooperates with the RA Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport, Ministry of Defense, Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs, The Prime Minister's Staff | Office of the High Commissioner for Diaspora Affairs, United Nations Development Program (UNDP), Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU), Jinishian Memorial Foundation, World Vision, Children of Armenia Fund (COAF), Teach for Armenia, Armenia Tree Project, and other international and local institutions.
