At that time, most establishments were dominated by classic uniform cloth aprons, sewn in thousands of pieces. As we are very close to the catering industry and the coffee selection industry, and also live by design and fashion, the first challenge was clear. To make original, unmissable, yet practical and wearable aprons for barista, bartender and chef competitions. And the response was unexpected. In 2017, Apronista, headed by founder Zuzka Válková, was already producing aprons for many well-known and start-up cafes, restaurants and bars. At the same time, other professional sectors started to demand our aprons. Hairdressers, barbers, florists, carpenters, librarians, restorers and artists. The first foreign orders are coming in. The year 2018 is full of changes for the company. We are moving to bigger premises in the centre of Liberec, our team is growing, we are buying new sewing machines. However, apart from basic sewing of fabrics, we remain a purely handmade production company. That's why we offer you the possibility to combine fabric colours with different shades of straps and metal accessories. This will create a unique piece just for you. We use strong and high-quality materials to ensure that the aprons can withstand everyday use. The material is tested directly in the manufacturer's laboratories, and the finished aprons are tested in high-stress operations. We make sure that our aprons are comfortable and easy to wear. That's why we hardly use a neck tie, but a cross over the back. In this way, the entire weight of the apron is borne by your shoulders and not by your cervical spine. We recommend the neck strap for jobs where you sit more than stand (e.g. tattooists or restorers). It doesn't matter if you are a barista, bartender, baker, florist, hairdresser or auto mechanic. You'll have a great time working in our aprons.
