Abasyn University Peshawar was established in the year of 2008 and got the approval of its charter in the year of 2009 from the Provisional Assembly of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) via bill No. PA/NWFP/Bills/2009/38457, N-W.F.P. ACT NO. XIII of 2009. It has been ranked 'W3' category by Higher Education Commission (HEC) "W3" recently. Abasyn University offers degree programs in various disciplines including Engineering, Computer Science, Business Administration, Pharmacy, Microbiology, Education and Technology. The Engineering & Computer Sciences Programs have been approved by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) and HEC's National Computing Education Accreditation Council (NCEAC) respectively. Abasyn University Islamabad Campus (AUIC) has recently been launched in Islamabad I-9/2 sector with the approval of HEC. The programs offered in AUIC include executive, undergraduate and graduate degrees in Engineering Management, Software Engineering, Computer Sciences, Telecommunication & Networks, Business Administration, Education etc.
