Our web and mobile apps address and provide a solution to a problem our co-founder identified within student athletic departments while working in his position as an Academic Coordinator. Academic Pulse is a Software as a Service platform and mobile app to aid in and improve student athlete academic performance, while allowing for monitoring, tracking and reporting on class attendance, calendars, schedules, class assignments, and grades. It also provides improved communication between the student athletes and Academic Coordinators. Our long term vision is to collect data and metrics related to student athlete academic performance across many universities to provide insights that will aid in not only improving individual student athlete academic success, but also success in the athletic programs’ recruiting, NCAA eligibility of students, and graduation rates.
