Advanced Energy Technologies (AET) is a Swiss/Dutch company, based in Geneva, Switzerland with the main operation in Edmonton, Canada. The company holds intellectual property/patents for upgrading heavy hydrocarbon liquids and provides novel technology solutions to the oil industry. In particular, the company's patented technology, Cold Cracking by Resonance Energy for Sustainable Technologies (CCREST), has applications in heavy crude upgradation, refinery residue upgradation & yield improvement and fuel oil blending. The CCREST technology uses an electro-mechanical device which substantially reduces greenhouse gases emissions and the use of solvents. Major benefits include but are not limited to:Downstream: 1. Convert low value residual products into high value, lighter products.2. Improve distillate yield of Heavy Crudes.3. Refine and reprocess residue to lighter products.4.
