"Improving Energy Efficiency in the Region South Aegean" consists of 3 investment schemes aiming at:- Modernizing the current regional & municipal street-lighting infrastructure and installing a smart management system for the Region's network- Implementing Energy Efficiency Retrofits in six hospitals in the Region of South Aegean- Developing small PVs in public buildings for net metering and virtual net metering purposes through energy communities schemes.Total estimated contributions amount to annual energy savings of 18.9 GWh and greenhouse gas emission reductions of 18.7 thousands eq. t. European Investment Bank finances the Project of "Improving Energy Efficiency In the Region of South Aegean" through the framework of the ELENA Facility.
