The need for this institute is based on the growing desire to find creative ways to modernize and improve the performance of the transport system. In consultation with multi-lateral stakeholders, the aim is to provide a singular neutral platform amongst government, transport authorities, public entities, industry and academia. This platform will aid collective planning of strategic transport infrastructure, with a mutual interest to design a singular transport investment plan.The institute will:• Coalesce business advocacy on issues of transportation• Seek local solutions for seamless transport• Collaborate with Global partners• Integrate and synergise regional policies• Operate as a Think-tank on transport challenges and generate solutions• Execute best practice
