ABOUT USAlbarka Health Spring Foundation (AHSF) is a non-profit and a non governmental organization founded in 2012 by a group of young researchers, it was officially registered in 2016 with the Nigerian corporate affairs commission (CAC).AHSF was founded with the aim of advancing community health care through research, advocacy, health promotion and education, community development,design and delivery of training programs,program development,impact evaluations,needs assessment, baselines/mid-lines/end-lines surveys,system strengthening and service delivery especially for the vulnerable and marginalized population in Nigeria and beyond.OUR MISSIONAimed at improving lives and enabling people lives abundantly through advancing community care.OUR VISIONA highly determined team driven to create impact positively.OUR PARTNERSAHSF work closely with stakeholders to see the actualization of our goals and objectives, we also partner with community based organizations CBOs; INGOs and NGOs,Health authorities,Services providers,Philanthropist,The media,Health groups,civil groups and Tertiary Institutions.OBJECTIVES Ensuring women, children and the general population get closer to quality health care through the community.Creating awareness, sensitization through the eyes of the community.Improving maternal and child health from evidence based to action.Creating grass root awareness of safe motherhood from conception, childbirth and post-natal care.Improving maternal & child health through health education, interventions, programs etc.SAFETY & SECURITY Albarka Health Spring Foundation has a very good safety and security protocol. The safety of our staff, volunteers, partners and host communities is of great paramount to us. We engage security actors for security, information, and training of our teams. AHSF also ensure compulsory safety measures prior field visitation and in the communities where we work.
