Amazing Grace is a faith based non-profit community organization serving Clayton County and the Greater Atlanta. We provide essential resources that help people with whatever they need to improve their lives through direct programs, referrals and public private partnerships. We provide for immediate needs with a food bank, internet café and a clothes closet. One of our flagship programs is "Choice" where we mentor youth to help them make thoughtful choices toward a healthy, successful futureDelivering exceptional youth empowerment programs to the tri-county (Clayton, Fulton and Fayetteville) communities for over 10 years. Amazing Grace champions the Youth Choice Seminar, teaching the youth and young adults about the choices pertaining to life, empowering them to be good citizens in the community. We provide a platform for the youth to build truancy related education, gang resistance intervention, life management solutions, community involvement, and leadership opportunities that promotes engagement and skill development for our youth. We work with diverse community leaders and county officials, police service and the county jails, to take the youth through various scenarios of choices they can make and where it will lead them. We provide basic computer training and provide seminars on preparation for college and financial aid programs as well as mentorship for the youth who have passed through our programs. Amazing Grace has also setup an internet café to give free access to students in the community to look up information for their school projects, homework and provide an avenue for people looking for jobs and needing basic assistance with job search as well as resume writeup. The youth who have participated in our Choice Youth empowerment programs have reported enhanced academic, social and emotion growth as well as civic and healthier outcomes. Many families have reported reduced risk behaviors in their youth who have actively participated in our programs
