Apek Equip is an emerging family run business. My name is Katie and I am the owner of the business. My partner Panos is the creator of our products. We have been studying and making films for the past 12 years now. One thing that always causes obstacles is the cost of equipment. When you make films or visual content as a hobby or as an independent film-maker and there are very small budgets involved, being able to afford the best equipment seems impossible. Therefore you have to compromise. My partner and I decided to research and develop ways to make this equipment ourselves, in hope that we could recreate something that offers the same quality and endurance, but cost less.
