Art in Protest is an ongoing series of international art exhibitions and events produced by HRF, featuring artists whose work is a reaction against injustice, inequalities, violence and oppression. The artwork addresses socio-political issues and challenges boundaries imposed by repressive regimes. It is our belief that art can open up the space for the marginalized to be seen and heard and that it can contribute to social change by producing knowledge and solidarity or by raising awareness.
