Representing industry, academia, and government, APCHEN has been trying to create a network to connect with intelligent, resourceful professionals, to advance the chemical and polymer engineering profession, to advocate high professional standards and ethics, and to support excellence in education.Association members range from graduate students, to entry-level engineers, to chief executive officers of major corporations, to the companies involved with chemical and/or polymer engineering. Among fields of specialization are polymer engineering, chemical engineering, petrochemicals, petroleum and gas, food, pharmaceuticals, textiles, pulp and paper, biotechnology and nanotechnology, environmental control and clean-up, and safety engineering. APCHEN has established five (5) main committees to accomplish its missions: Industry, International Relations, Professional Development, Scientific and Publication, and Innovation Committees.
