Atelier Kevi was founded by 3 friends from different backgrounds who believed that African based businesses are important for the internal growth of the continent. We believed that today's struggle (economic, demographic and political) in Africa has to be solved by insiders rather than from outsiders, therefore we thought of a way on our own to, at least, address the economy of our continent, and so to bring back money to Africa.We created our company back in 2016 and since then we employ only Togolese (as we are based in Togo) and we give them a regular training and most importantly a permanent salary which is approximately 2 to 3 times above the minimal wage (and we intend to do even better in the coming years).We source our raw material across the continent as we believed in the "made in Africa"​, we use the African print from Togo but also the Kente and different other types of tissues from neighboring countries.Our approach has always been to handmade our products and to spread the cultural values and cultural pride of our continent.
