Our mission is:"to record and celebrate the history of Atherstone"​Since 1995 the Friends of Atherstone Heritage have been collecting photographs, artefacts, documents and information about Atherstone and the surrounding villages. The aim has always been to make this information available to local people and anyone with a connection to the town by way of an exhibition centre, on the internet, or both. The Friends have produced and shown many exhibitions charting the rich history of the town, from the Yards to the hatting.
