Augspach Architecture was started by Rodolfo Pedro Augspach as a setting for real sustainable architecture to power through today's marketing standards.The practice seeks to apply passive strategies into the design mainly for the delight of having a stronger communion between individuals and their context, attempting to blur out the limits between indoors and outdoors.It is an alternative to the current energy intensive way of life where architectural space is conceived in spite of its natural environment rather than working with the elements at hand. The energy savings achieved in the projects are not seen as a driving objective, but rather as a high added value.The main objective is to design projects from a "bottom up" holistic approach finding common ground between the programmatic agenda and the analysed climate found in the setting effectively making the buildings belong to their surroundings.
