Avalon Growers Producer Organisation (AGPO) is a group of 12 growers of top fruit spread between Cambridgeshire, Norfolk, Kent and Hampshire.  The company handles approximately 20 thousand tonnes of top fruit .We are a recognised as a Producer Organisation (PO) under the Fruit and Veg regime of the Common Agricultural Policy.  As a consequence of its PO status, annual grants are paid which are used to help fund a range of growing, grading and marketing activities.AGPO owns 50% of Avalon Produce Ltd (APL), a business that focuses solely on marketing fruit, mainly to the multiple retailers, but also to wholesale and processing customers.  APL is responsible for the second largest block of top fruit in the UK market place.AGPO and APL are the culmination of rapid change in the sector. our vision is to drive expansion and long term strategic development in top fruit production and product development making AGPO the market leading, proactive grower group of choice for customers and growers.
