Ted is a rare South Bay native (born at Mountain View hospital) who served in the United States Marine Corps and spent 20 years building high-profile corporate websites for Silicon Valley leaders like Symantec, Verisign, and Netscape/AOL before deciding to follow his passion back into baking.The name "Batch 58" was derived because it took Ted fifty-eight versions and variations until he came up with his signature scone recipe.
