CFAC Portfolio Management is a student-run investment club with a purpose of educating UBC students on Capital Markets while providing first-hand experience in managing an equity fund. Members gain invaluable experience and mentorship from upper-year students and industry professionals that provide them with the essential skills, network, and preparation to break into the world of finance. CFAC was founded with the philanthropic purpose of raising awareness and money for ALS research. Being a part of CFAC, members would have an opportunity to organize fundraisers and promote awareness in the UBC community. The club educates UBC students on the fundamental practice of equity research, valuation and financial modelling. With a team of students from different backgrounds and skillsets, CFAC is the perfect club for the ambitious students who are interested in Capital Markets.
