Anand Prasad is a corporate lawyer, based in Delhi, with more than 25 years of experience working with both domestic and international clients, law firms and consultants on legal issues and commercial transactions relating to India.In his role as a counsel, i.e. assisting lawyers, law firms and other consultants, Anand would focus on providing commercial and regulatory advice, assisting with crises management, dispute resolution including arbitration, helping with investment and transaction structuring, mergers and acquisitions, and other corporate and financing transactions.In addition, in their early stage of evolution, Anand would also consult with new businesses/start-ups on a pro bono basis.Lastly, having been one of the co-founders and in the management of one of India's top law firm, Anand has also gathered experience and an insight into the building and workings of a commercial law firm and the relevance of international practices to the Indian context. He would look forward to sharing this experience and assisting lawyers and law firms on issues to do with practice and firm building.
