Coleg QS has grown from the success of QS Electrical. The two founders, Dean Stephens and Alun Quarmby, have been working together as a team of electrical contractors for over 12 years. During this time, they have both been practicing assessors and internal quality assurers.From the natural growth and success of QS Electrical came the development of Coleg QS which allowed them to combine their skills and abilities.Coleg QS was formed in 2007 and has grown steadily though the demand for work based training in Torfaen and the South Wales region.Initially occupying a standard factory unit with only two training booths, the college soon needed to expand and relocation to a larger premises was necessary.Coleg QS now have 2 premises in the Cwmbran area which we use to deliver training to our learners. We are also extremely proud to announce that we are the 2nd AM2 test centre in Wales.Coleg QS is now growing to become a major training provider of work based learning and private training in the electrical, engineering, construction, manufacturing and motor vehicle industries of South Wales. Expanding our training and services to meet the growing market requirements is essential for us. Our future lies in growing and strengthening our associations and affiliations with other training organisations and companies.
