Contatto is building a neutral Identity Provider (IdP) platform. We strive to be the go-to destination for website developers looking to off-load identity and authentication services but who don't trust the big players to stay out of their customers' personal information. In addition to managing authentication for third-party sites, Contatto will also provide single sign on (SSO) services to end users to manage the logon credentials for their myriad online accounts.Our intent is to provide the IdP functionality with no financial burden on the end user. We will also endeavor to build a strong trust relationship with the user by maximized their control over their own information. We will do this both by agreement and by making as much information as possible inaccessible and unencryptable even to us.
