Eboroil has been the family holding company for investments in oil, energy and renewables for the Haynes family since 1977 until March 2011 when it realised its share investments and illness has led to the dissolution of Eboroil in IOM. A new Eboroil has been started in Manchester to own the technology. It has access to proprietary technology for the production of unconventional oil and gas, biochar, activated carbon and hydrocarbon solvents from biomass. Also it is packaging TOPS - a way to develop offshore fields directly after discovery and allowing drilling and intervening throughout the life of the field. Talks on licensing TOPS to a major contractor have started.
