Emmanuel is a lay-led Catholic mission community in Brisbane Australia, called to grow contagious followers of Jesus and pave ways for the Church of the future. Our mission is to welcome and invite all people to experience Jesus in the power of the Spirit. We create ways where all generations can find their home in the Catholic Church, thrive in faith, and live out their calling as missionary disciples in the world.Emmanuel underpins some amazing ministries that are making an impact around the country: Ignite Youth, Emmanuel City Mission and Emmanuel Worship to name a few. We are also proud to partner with other ministries such as NET Australia, Mother Effect and Men Alive who share our heart for renewal in the Church. All of this external mission however is underpinned by a rhythm of prayer and support - the ‘domestic church' lived out week-by-week in our relationships, homes and families. That's where the magic happens.
