Ephorus was founded in 2003 by two former teachers from the Netherlands. They developed a webbased service that avoids teachers to search for similarities between documents themselves. Nowadays more than 5,000 schools and universities use Ephorus. As a result, Ephorus is the marketleader in Europe. We are also active outside Europe.
