The Fields Studios is the first purpose-built film studio in Illinois. It is the centerpiece of the redevelopment of the former Marshall Fields warehouse facility in Northwest Chicago. Set on 20+ acres, the new studio campus is the centerpiece of a dynamic mixed-use environment that includes housing, restaurants, retail and office space in the former 1.5-million-square-foot Marshall Fields warehouse. The new Fields Studios campus, built on two lots on either side of the warehouse, features nine sound stages – including the largest sound stage in Chicago – along with base camps, abundant production and creative office space, millwork facilities and ample parking. The Fields Studios supports and advances the state's programs to attract additional film and television productions that are a significant source of new, quality jobs and revenue.
