Five Rivers

Five Rivers is an independent Social Enterprise that looks after children who need specialist care and education. We train and support foster carers, run independent schools and provide residential children's homes. Our fostering agency has a diverse community of foster carers who work with social workers across the country to look after children in care. Our experienced fostering teams help foster carers provide stable, loving environments for children who cannot live with their birth parents. Our eight residential children's homes offer trauma-informed care to children with challenging and complex behaviour. Our staff work with clinicians to help children recover from trauma and abuse to work towards brighter, safer futures. Our independent schools adopt a therapeutic framework that promotes academic success, emotional growth and personal development. Our schools offer an environment where pupils receive a tailored, personal, educational experience to help meet their individual learning needs.All of our work is psychologically informed. Highly trained clinicians work with our foster carers, social workers, teachers and residential care staff to help them to provide the best support to children. We have been providing specialist children's services for over 30 years.
