Big changes are coming. The Scottish and UK Governments, as well as many other governments around the world, have declared a climate emergency and are committed to achieving Net Zero. The UK is switching away from coal and gas to renewable sources of energy such as wind and solar. Our cars, buses and trains are going electric or switching to hydrogen and innovations such as carbon capture and storage are being explored to help us reach Net Zero.Forth Valley for Net Zero is a partnership of businesses, local councils, and third-sector organisations whose aim is to highlight the amazing things happening in our area to help achieve Net Zero and the actions we can all take to reduce our carbon footprint.We can all do our bit. Many of the changes we can make don't cost much and might even save money. The one thing we can't do, is keep doing things the same way we've always done them.Forth Valley for Net Zero is here to show how anyone in our area can make a difference.
