Thomas G. Goodwin founded Friends Making a Difference, Inc. in 2012. He was inspired by Lucius Quinctius Cincinnatus, a Roman statesman who gained fame for his selfless devotion to the republic in times of crisis and for giving up the reins of power when the crisis was over. A gesture that speaks to Tom's character and his devotion to giving back to the community and those in need.
