GIS Inc. was founded in 1986 with three partners. That original partnership was very brief, as two of the three partners passed away within the first seven months after start-up. This fledgling company forged ahead with the only remaining member of the original partnership, Cheryl Heller. The rest as they say is history, a long and often anxious history, and now GIS is proud to celebrate its 30th anniversary this year.From its humble beginnings to the multi-million dollar company it is today, this small business still focuses on the principles established all those years ago. Although it has evolved many times over, the attention to the customer has not wavered.GIS's focus has always been on providing the best service and pricing which explains why we still have many of those same customers who started with us all those years ago. Cheryl is often heard saying, "If we don't take care of our customers, someone else will be happy to."
