The Student Competition Center at Georgia Tech is home to seven student engineering competition teams. With its extensive machining resources, the SCC is ground zero for fostering engineering innovation amongst hundreds of students. For years, it has been the gateway for thousands of Georgia Tech students' entry into the corporate and industrial world, and beyond. The SCC not only nurtures engineering design and management, but it also allows individuals the ability to see the creations come to life with the work of their own knowledge and hands marking the true process of experiential learning.The SCC houses GT Motorsports, Solar Racing, Off-Road, Wreck Racing, EcoCar Mobility Challenge, Robojackets, and HyTech Racing. These teams all compete at the top of their class in collegiate engineering design competitions across the globe. By supporting these teams in their operation, the SCC brings together over 700 Georgia Tech students in the super-curricular design and manufacturing space.
