The Mission of the General Retailers Association (GRA) is to consolidate the voices, the experiences and the visions of the different retailers into a cohesive organization. Our goal is to promote, protect and enhance the Mauritian retail industry.We protect the interests of the industry by taking significant leadership positions in the development of public policy and regulations as well as in the dealings with every major stakeholder such as Banks and Mall owners that impact our members and the retail business climate in Mauritius.We provide the resources that keep retailers competitive and profitable. We can achieve this through the identification of ways to help lower the retailer's day-to-day costs of doing business, to raise capital, to increase our profit margins as well as to create a better shopping experience for our customers. We negotiate as a group what is beneficial to the different individual stores.We educate retailers through seminars, training and meetings and strive to provide the best service and quality information to our members.
