This study gave birth to RPC's Regional Political Risk Index (IRPD due to its name in spanish), the firms premium information service. What it is: The IDRP is a Business intelligence tool, presented as a country risk index. It rates the 32 Colombian departments separately, based on social, political, economic, and security factors. Our team of analysts uses a combination of quantitative and qualitative data in order to assess the risk in each of these administrative units. We like to emphasise to our readers that the practice of calculating country and political risk using the country as the measurement unit is no longer useful.
