Hands of Love USA empowers Uganda's vulnerable children and families by providing Christ-centered education, spiritual development and mentorship, and job skill development so that they are lifted out of poverty, know their identity, purpose, and calling in Jesus Christ, and become light to the next generation. Our organization in Uganda is founded, owned, and operated by Ugandans.Uganda is a nation of children. This densely populated country is one of the youngest in the world, with high percentage of the youth being orphaned.Because our children are vulnerable or abandoned, they are dependent on assistance to meet their educational needs. Through our program, children are educated in Christ centered schools, mentored and discipled by our staff and taught the love of their Heavenly Father.We emphasize personal relationship with all partners and between sponsors and their sponsored children. Our sponsors directly support their sponsored children and are encouraged to develop meaningful relationships. Sponsors can meet their children and visit whenever possible.
