Beating COVID-19.There are a number of immediate needs (Ventilators, Respirators/PPE, Medical Workers, Hospital Beds, and many more) and there are excellent organizations and individuals stepping up in many ways to fight for those who are treating and suffering from the virus. At \\HlthFEx we are aiming to fill a gap in communication with the general public around testing for COVID-19. Surveillance testing for active cases and antibodies to COVID-19 is key to easing the current social distancing restrictions and reducing the severity of a wave 2 and wave 3 recurrence in the future. For testing to occur on the scale necessary to provide meaningful data to our public health authorities and health systems, information about where, when and how to get tested needs to be transparent, comprehensive, and readily available to all segments of the population. In anticipation of expanded testing types and volume, we've created \\HlthFEx to provide a central repository for Health Systems, Medical Practices, Urgent Care Centers, Retailers and others to share information about where patients can obtain COVID-19 testing. Our site, using this supplied information, provides the general public, the press, and other stakeholders a repository of test site locations, current testing availability, test types and eligible populations.From an individual perspective, uncertainty causes stress. How likely was it that I was exposed? Did I have an asymptomatic case? Am I actively carrying the virus and don't know it?
