The HKCYIA was set up to support the development of the industry by providing a platform for experts and professionals to share their expertise and experience with practitioners, especially youths in the increasing popular cruise industry. The mission of HKCYIA is to promote the adoption of international standards and practices as well as the development of professionalism in the industry. It will also promote the industry's interest by seeking government, business and community support in endeavours to ensure its long-term development. The Association has invited industry leaders, leading professionals and academics as consultants who will become a team that is dedicated to provide the directions and drive in promoting the cruise and yacht industry.
