The solution eventually will address the entire range of functions and services associated with the movement of freight, including dock / yard management, dispatch. logistics, sales, terminal management, inter-terminal coordination and communications, enterprise integration, regulatory compliance, etc. However, the initial focus will be on dock management.The technologies that will be leveraged in these systems include RFID / Sensors /Internet of Things, Mobile / Wireless technologies, Big Data, High Performance Computing, virtual machines and Artificial Intelligence. AI will be made pervasive and ubiquitous.
