Just In Time - A Never-Ending WardrobeHave you ever heard the saying, "If you're not part of the problem, then you're part of the solution"? This may sound dramatic, but in this case, it is entirely true. If you continue to support the traditional garment industry, it will continue to grow and dominate the global garment market, costing us money, adding to our stress, and harming the only planet that we can call home. Textech is a viable alternative to the old way of doing things.Asking big questions, We were examining the very fabric (excuse the pun!) from which the garment industry was made. Why was overproduction so common? Why were companies spending so much on storage and distribution – only to pass that spending on to their customers? Why was waste happening on such a large scale?Most importantly, We examined pollution statistics. Pulling my numbers from multiple sources, We heard the same story over and over. Second, only to the oil industry, the garment industry is wreaking havoc all over our planet, wasting our water and damaging our natural ecosystems. This is damage to a level that we cannot sustain over any significant period. If we want to protect our planet from catastrophe, the time to act is now.
