Independent Thought & Social Action International (ITSA International) is an internationally recognized, award-winning education reform organization aimed at creating socially responsible youth leaders and educators through fostering critical thinking skills and action on issues of social justice.ITSA believes in empowering and educating the next generation to think critically and creatively and to act effectively towards societal improvement. We break down the boundaries between the self, society and the classroom, by empowering students to take action in the direction of bringing about real social change within their own communities. ITSA aims to address the need for youth leadership and action, through empowering students through the opportunity of youth-developed social action projects and through workshops, lectures and conferences, with a view towards creating a new generation defined by the principles of social responsibility and active leadership.We also run several teacher training programs and provide consultation services to school districts across the globe to improve curricula.
