The Indy Browncoats founded in 2015, is an all-volunteer Indiana domestic non-profit organization located in Indianapolis and incorporated in the state of Indiana. The Indy Browncoats work to raise public awareness on matters concerning our nation's veterans and more. The Indy Browncoats is a collective of fans inspired by the works of Joss Wheadon, such as "Firefly", and "Serenity" we are passionate about our causes and raising funds for our charities, including Wounded Warrior Project, Indy Honor Flight and more. Indy Browncoats are organized to support other 501(c)3 charities by promoting fan and community participation in charitable fundraising activities. You will find the Indy Browncoats at various events across the Indiana but occasionally will find us events across the Great Lakes region of the US. We look forward to connecting and networking with Browncoat's and Browncoat groups across the 'Verse. Our Mission is: "we are a network of individuals inspired by the work of Joss Whedon to support and raise funds for local and national charities focused on our nation's veterans and other organizations that the Indy Browncoats Board of Trustees may deem appropriate to support."
