Being a central institution within the University of Mannheim, the Institute for Enterprise Systems (InES) works on an interdisciplinary basis across faculties. The main purpose of InES is to actively enhance the valuable exchange between science and practice in the field of enterprise systems. Our goal is defined by three major targets:- achieving high-quality results in research by using an interdisciplinary research approach- transfering know-how into the practical world with a strong focus on designers as well as users in middle-sized enterprises as well as large corporations- providing young scientists with state-of-the-art qualification
