JeKaJo means 'Lets Dance' in Yoruba, a Nigerian tribal language. JeKaJo Dance combines the following music genres and dance styles; Afro-Beats, Hip-Hop, RnB, Soca, Reggae and Dancehall to create a new and dynamic fitness programme.This dance based, fitness class challenges fitness levels and focuses on improving individuals' stamina, core strength and coordination, encouraging weight loss whilst specifically targeting muscle groups to improve muscle tone and definition.JeKaJo Dance is a structured 60 minute class with participants learning 13 tracks for the duration. The tracks vary, some being more challenging than others, allowing for interval training, aerobic training and resistance training to maximise on total body results. The entire 13 tracks change on a quarterly basis to allow participants plenty of time to master the choreography of each release and get the most out of a JeKaJo class.The KEY elements to JeKaJo Dance....the music, the choreography, the energy within the class that exudes from the instructors, the community it builds, it is hard work in disguise, participants feel great during and after the class & perseverance!
