The Junior League of London is a member of the Association of Junior Leagues International (AJLI). Founded in 1985, we are an organisation of women volunteers committed to promoting voluntary service, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.Our vision is of a London where each person has the opportunity and means to prosper. We provide volunteers and resources to support projects centred on our current community focus of breaking the cycle of poverty in London. Our 300 members give over 10,000 volunteer hours every year. With only 1 part time employee, our charity is almost entirely volunteer run. From tutoring to serving meals, our impact is significant and tangible...all with the goal of improving the lives of Londoners in need. Our unique structure and hands-on approach mean that the impact of funds we invest in London is amplified by the thousands of hours donated by volunteer-members.If you are inspired and interested in donating some time to helping your community, develop new volunteer and leadership skills and connect with brilliant women doing the same, attend one our interest sessions.
