Kay Keny was created on 2015 in Ihosy, the Capital city of the region of Ihorombe and the Bara Tribe, also known as the entry gate to the South of Madagascar. The story of the Brand started in 2015 as Barabe Wear, a Clothing company that sold T-shirts and other casual wear items such as Polos, casual dresses, shorts …etc. A brand which Valisoa Elisador used for showing off and represent the Region. And Kay keny was among People's favorite product back then.Two years later, Because People still had the two words in their mouth; two words which are a popular slang among the youth from this Bara Region (Ihosy, iakora, Ivohibe, Ranohira, Ilakaka, Sakaraha, Betroka, Beroroha, Ankazoabo, Mandabe…), funny and teasing at the same time which means "Hay ve!" or "Oh really! " ; the name of the Brand itself was changed into "Kay Keny" and no longer "Barabe Wear" from 2017.Kay Keny spent quite a long time to build its fame and spread its products and it was noticed that the brand raised the interest of people from other surrounding cities such as Toliara, Fianarantsoa, Taolagnaro and Morondava…However, Customers never stopped increasing, as the quality and Beauty of the items made people from all over and even outside Madagascar love it. Kay Keny has always tried and is still trying to implement as much stores as possible all over Madagascar and beyond to be closer to its customers. And it keeps creating and innovating as much outfits as possible to satisfy the loyal customers.
