The Kokoda Comrades Trekking Company is a newly established entity and is locally owned and operated that will be focused on rendering services to Tourists both abroad and within Papua New Guinea. The company is registered with the Investment Promotion Authority (IPA) and the Kokoda Track Authority (KTA) of which the latter authority is responsible for monitoring and coordinating all trekking companies under its authority and also is responsible for the upkeep and maintenance of the 96Km Kokoda Track from Ower's Corner (Upper Sogeri) to Kokoda Station in the Northern Province (Oro).Mission Statement: Our mission is to provide the best local trekking service to interested tourists who are willing to trek the 96km famous Kokoda Track. We want them to experience what the World War Two (2) was like when the Allied Troops, as comrades in arms, rallied against a common enemy by sacrificing their lives for the freedom of our children's future along the rough, steep, and rugged Kokoda Track. ‘'Experience the Experienced'' is all about that.
