LONGDEN STEEL…MODEST ORIGINS Longden Steel is a family owned reinforcement steel contractor serving the Zimbabwe construction industry in the supply and on site fixing of reinforcement steel .The company was established in 2003 as a 100% indigenous owned business and started from scratch with no assets or expertise but only driven by a passion to become the leading player in the industry. From those modest origins the business started operating from the Ruwa home of its founder, then moved to the Gazaland Home Industry in 2004 before renting a workshop in Willowvale.The company bought its first machines that same year. In 2006 an industrial stand was acquired in the same Willowvale area from where a modern workshop was built.Today Longden Steel boasts of the most modern steel cutting and bending machinery and supplies the largest volume of reinforcement steel to the construction industry.
