Lucy Knox is a wanderer who dreams of places yet travelled. She paints the dream, and the experience of exploring the corners of our world. By unlocking an imaginative state she is able to create pieces prior to travelling, and recreates these windows of colour again as re-imagined works once experienced.Her work takes you on an interpretive journey of landscape through the mediums of oil and acrylic. With each gaze her pieces grow in-depth as more layers emerge through uncovered etchings and subtle brush strokes. The adventure is in the journey of the unknown.
