International Classical Music Festival on Lake Como, LacMus was founded by the pianist Louis Lortie and by the conductor Paolo Bressan.LacMus Festival is performed in amazing venues on Lake Como (Tremezzina), such as Villa del Balbianello, Villa Carlotta, Grand Hotel Tremezzo, Sanctuary of Beata Vergine del Soccorso (UNESCO site), Greenway of Lake Como and on the Comacina Island.Many famous and acclaimed international artists have played at LacMus (Ton Koopman, Emmanuel Pahud, Christiane Karg, Louis Lortie, etc.) and one of the main partners of the Festival is the Queen Elisabeth Music Chapel of Waterloo, Belgium.
