Hi, name is Francois, the founder of Laser Media (Pty) Ltd. Being the son of a real estate agent, I noticed one day that their agency's online presence was void of any professional pictures. In all the pictures, you could only see half the room, the vertical lines were not vertical at all and in some cases the room was completely dark! This of course was a result of them taking pictures without the proper equipment or training. Being confident in the skill I developed with a camera as a young skateboarder I offered to take a couple of pictures for them.I had a couple of days to refine my skills for this project, I dove head first into an architecture photography course. I learned everything I could about capturing spaces in those couple of days. I purchased some specialized equipment for photographing interiors and after about six hours taking pictures and two days straight on photoshop, I finally delivered their pictures. They were astounded by the results and immediately offered me some more jobs. Looking back at how hard I worked on those pictures and how they turned out I'm almost embarrassed, but they were a huge improvement on what they currently had.Word spread quickly about my pictures and I started getting some more clients. It seemed that my mother's agency wasn't the only one in need of professional pictures!Fast forward a couple of years and a couple purchases later, countless pictures taken , courses enrolled in and developing my own techniques I am now a full time photographer. I've done work for multiple real estate agencies, developers, b&b's and small businesses.Taking pictures for the hospitality industry is my latest passion, being a business owner myself I love working directly with clients who want to take their business to the next level. As such I take the utmost care to deliver the best possible product. All the pictures are meticulously edited by yours truly using the techniques that I've developed over the years.
